The beautiful tiger, my absolute favourite wildlife animal, was the main subject for this painting. From there starting with a mood board, I built up the scene with the Indian farmer lady, then the other animals and insects flow around those two main subjects.
Setting a surreal scene almost like you are in amongst the warm Indian bush land but without too much detail on the landscape. A colour scheme of marigolds, Indian yellow and of course a bright, warm and tranquil Indian summer was my colour palette of choice.
 
As I have mentioned many times before, wildlife conservation is a really big deal to me and that is the purpose to all my figurative surrealism series. Look after nature and wildlife and they will bring you so much beauty.
7 weeks to complete this painting trying to get as much detail into every part of the story.
 
A special mention to the government, conservationists and the people of India. With their ongoing dedication to improve wildlife habitat, the tiger population has increased by more than 23% since 2018. Dedicating more land for National Parkes, lifting highways up so that wildlife can cross underneath 😮 and so much more.
